Captains Oscar and Aida Rolon have loved the ministering with The Salvation Army since 2018. They have served as Corps Officer in the PenDel, PRV and Empire divisions for the past 13 years. Sharing the Good News of Salvation with children, youth, young adults, and adults has been their calling, driving force and hope as they give God their hearts, and hands to man. They are parents to two young adults, Kiara and Bryan, both Ladore campers and staff, and now married. They love nature, road trips (sometimes to nowhere), and being with family and friends.

Allie Gordon https://campladore.org/team/alyssa_gordon/ Sat, 30 Dec 2017 16:43:41 +0000 https://campladore.org/?post_type=team&p=923

For Allie, camp isn’t just a place—it’s part of who she is. She’s spent most of her summers living the camp life and even committed her life to God as a teenager at camp. Now, she can’t imagine a world without it. Allie is thrilled to join the Camp Ladore team and bring her passion for campers, staff, and the life-changing ministry of summer camp. She firmly believes that Camp Changes Lives and is excited to help create a space where everyone feels seen, supported, and spiritually challenged.

At her previous camp, Allie loved building strong bonds among the staff through creative and memorable experiences—some of her favorites included 80’s prom, redneck bingo, and full-blown Olympic-style competitions. She’s excited to bring that same spirit of fun and connection to Camp Ladore, helping to create a tight-knit team that supports each other and pours into campers all summer long.

For Rachel, camp has always been more than a summer getaway—it’s part of her story. Her connection to Camp Ladore began long before her first summer on staff; her parents actually met at camp over 30 years ago! After spending three amazing summers serving at camp herself, Rachel has seen firsthand how camp can change lives and shape hearts.

For Eliza, this is a dream come true! She has spent most of her summers at camp, loves the outdoors, and desired to continue working in ministry while using her experience in Family & Consumer Sciences Education. Camp is where she committed her life to God and now she finds great joy in serving campers and staff each summer. After 25 years, she still loves camp, and pours her heart and soul into ministering to our JOY Staff.
